Tighten, widen, and gently push the tone in the direction you like, and with a HPF that is continuously variable. These options are especially useful for controlling proximity effect with a Ribbon Mic as the clarity can easily be dialed. With Tube Condensers, the Z control works like magic to gently remove and tame sibilance without affecting phase.
